Update: Well shucks we were right. John Wick 3 Parabellum is now on general release and the STI plays a pivotal part. Now if you want to see the other guns in the movie, and maybe take a trip down memory lane, we got you covered.

Natural Born Gamblers We Are

We like the odd bold prediction round these parts. So, we’re going to put this one out there, this John Wick Combat Master STI 2011 is going to be the star gun in John Wick 3.

We’re honestly not really that clever, or digging for inside information. It is just that this gun has popped up on Brownells order page, alongside the Glock 34 and other guns from John Wick Chapter 2, and it all kind of fits together pretty neatly.

Taran Butler Trained Keanu Reeves for John Wick

TTI owner Taran Butler is basically Keanu Reeves’ Yoda when it comes to firearms training and the multiple world champion sport shooter has been on board with the franchise since day one. The Glock, AR-15 and Benelli M4 in John Wick Chapter 2 were all Taran Tactical Innovations tuned weapons.

Take a look at our separate post on the Guns of John Wick 2 when you’re done here. You’ll love some of them!

Now this one crops up, literally weeks before John Wick Chapter 3 hits the big screen. We have to say it looks like the kind of gun the world’s most dangerous hitman could carry.

STI DVC 9mm: John Wick’s New Handgun?

STI International has specialized in high-end double stack 1911 9mm handguns. Competition shooters love their firearms, too. STI has built a reputation for stellar accuracy and ludicrous price tags. This gun has the fingerprints of STI and TTI all over it, so yeah it’s quite expensive…

An Expensive Custom 1911. That’s Life, and Death

$3,899 is a lot to spend on a custom 1911 9mm, but that’s what it’s going to take to follow in the blood-spattered footsteps of Keanu Reeves’ John Wick.

You get a match-grade, bull cut barrel with a Diamond Like Carbon DLC finish. That’s 5.4 inch, which seems to suit John Wick’s preference for a full-size handgun. He also likes competition parts and this is a 3-Gun STI DVC match-grade pistol underneath the window dressing.

The 22+1 rounds you can send through the STI 2011 before reloading is partially down to the extended baseplates. That’s another John Wick trademark, and the world’s best hitman is plain right with those.

It’s a 1911, and it’s more than 8 inches long, but it weighs in at just 3lb thanks to extensive slide cuts and advanced materials in the construction.

This is a Good Gun For John Wick

It just looks like the right kind of gun for John Wick to carry in the third instalment of the brilliant revenge flick turned franchise. With a $14 million bounty on his head, almost $4,000 on a handgun doesn’t really seem to matter that much…

John Wick Sponsorship Deal – Like Mike for Contract Killers

The John Wick endorsement deal is right up there with Michael Jordan, if you happen to peddle tools of death. He’s basically a sociopathic serial killer with a bank account that the whole world somehow loves.

This is a man that went on a triple-digit killing spree over a puppy and a car theft remember? It could have stopped right there, which would have made it a bad film, admittedly…

If you’re a handgun manufacturer, the John Wick seal of approval is a massive deal. It helped TTI no doubt, and now there’s a good chance that STI is going to feel the love of one of the world’s scariest men.

As soon as we see the film, you better believe we’ll have a detailed account of the guns of John Wick 3: Parabellum. Because we know that John Wick is big business for us too.

When is John Wick 3 in cinemas?

The official release date for John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum is May 17 2019. So we really don’t have long to wait.

What do we know about John Wick 3: Parabellum?

We know that John Wick is now ex-communicado and the bounty on his head has gone up to $14 million after he killed an asshole on Continental grounds.

Who Stars in John Wick 3?

Now he’s on the run, with Halle Berry in tow, and we know that Laurence Fishburne will be back as the King of the Homeless. But Mark Dacoscos is the Tick Tock man who gives Wick his biggest issues in the third chapter of this iconic movie francise that would be one of the best films of the decade, if it weren’t for all the frivolous death.

Jerome Flynn has built on his Game of Thrones work to land a part in this one. Ironically, cockless coward Theon Greyjoy was the villain in the first John Wick movie and he got killed stone dead. So he’s not showing up in the third chapter.

Iain McShane is back as Winston, Charon the Concierge has come with him and Tobias Segal is one of many new additions to the shadowy world of underground hitmen and crime bosses.

Dog-loving John Wick picks up another canine friend or two along the way, but that’s about all we know. That and the fact we strongly suspect he will pick up an STI International 9mm with TTI parts & accessories in pretty short order.

Every day when I’m faced with a difficult decision I ask myself, “WWJWD?” So I’m a disabled Marine (0311/8152) and an LCSW at the VA helping my brothers & sisters with PTSD. I’ve been a good boy, so Santa, Can I please have this pistol for Christmas?
