Last updated September 2026 · By Nick Hall, who tracks Glock prices across the retailers in our catalog every day
A new Glock 43X sells for $448 at most big retailers, and the optics-ready 43X MOS runs $484. Those two numbers barely move. Since early July 2026 every major retailer we track has held the standard 43X at $448 or $449, and the only new guns listed below that were occasional big-box sales.
The box below is live. It comes from the same retailer feeds that power our price cards and refreshes on its own, so it can be newer than the paragraph you just read.

What a New Glock 43X Costs Right Now
The 43X comes in two factory configurations that matter for price: the standard pistol and the MOS, which has a slide cut for a red dot. Colors, finishes and magazine counts shuffle around inside those two, but they do not move the base price much.
| Version | Lowest new | Typical | Retailers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Glock 43X MOS (optic-ready) | $484 | $484 | 7 |
| Glock 43X (standard) | $448 | $448 | 8 |

Why are so many listings sitting at exactly $448? Retailers selling new Glocks mostly price the 43X at the same number, so shopping around rarely saves you money on the gun itself. The savings are in shipping, the transfer fee, and what comes in the box.
That last part matters more than it used to. Glock started shipping the 43X with its own 15-round magazines in 2026, but its spec page still lists 10 rounds as standard and both versions are on shelves at the same price. Read the listing title before you click buy. At $448, the box with two 15-rounders is the better deal.

Glock 43X vs 43X MOS: Is the Optic Cut Worth $36?
The MOS costs $36 more than the standard gun, and it holds that gap as steadily as the base model holds $448. You get a slide milled for a micro red dot and a set of adapter plates, and nothing else about the pistol changes. Both versions share the same frame, barrel length and magazines, so holsters and spare mags cross over.
If there is any chance you’ll put a dot on this gun, buy the MOS now. Having a standard slide milled for an optic later costs several times that $36 at any gunsmith I know, and you lose the factory finish on the cut. If you’re certain you will never run one, save the money. Our guide to the best pistol red dots covers the slim optics that actually fit this slide.

The Glock 43X Price History, Day by Day
Lowest new price that dayTypical (median) new price
Last 89 days of new Glock 43X prices across the retailers we track: lowest $448, highest daily low $448, typical $448.
What stands out is how flat it is. Each point comes from the daily price checks we run on every retailer in our catalog that lists a new 43X. The red line is the lowest new price on any given day, and it sits on $448 almost the whole way, dipping only when a big-box store runs the gun cheaper for a while. The gray line is the typical price, counting each retailer once at its cheapest 43X.
That’s useful if you are waiting for a deal. A 43X advertised “on sale” at $448 is not on sale. It’s the normal price. Anything below $448 on a new, factory-standard 43X is a real discount, and the chart shows how rarely that happens.
Colors, Custom Finishes and Packages: Where $448 Becomes $900
Most of the expensive 43X listings are the same pistol with something added. Here is what one day of listings looked like in late September 2026:
- Cerakote and distributor colors (tan, OD green, lavender and friends): about $540 to $700.
- Threaded-barrel versions: about $730 to $840.
- Packages with an Aimpoint COA red dot: about $920 to $970.
None of that changes how the gun shoots. If you want a colored frame, go for it, but compare any package to the $448 gun plus the part bought separately before you assume the bundle saves money. Our Glock 43X parts and accessories guide prices the common upgrades one by one.
Used Glock 43X Prices
67 used listings from 2 retailers, October 10, 2026. Used asking prices include guns with optics and custom work that listings do not always name.
Used 43X prices are strange right now. The cheapest used guns start around $400, but a large share of used listings ask more than a new one costs. Police trade-ins are the exception worth watching: they show holster wear, and they have listed as low as $399.99.
Some of that is optics and custom work the listing title doesn’t mention. Some of it is just optimism. Either way, a used 43X only makes sense at a clear discount to $448, with its magazines and a slide that hasn’t been holster-worn to bare metal. If the discount is not there, buy new and get the warranty.
What a Glock 43X Costs Out the Door
The sticker isn’t the whole bill when you buy online. Most retailers charge $15 to $30 to ship a handgun, and the local dealer who receives it charges a transfer fee that averages $25 to $35 in most states, as our FFL transfer fee guide lays out. Then there’s sales tax.
So a $448 43X bought online lands at roughly $490 to $515 before tax. That’s the number to beat at your local counter, where you skip the shipping and the transfer fee. If you haven’t bought online before, here is how the process works.
Is the Glock 43X Worth $448?
For a slim 9mm that carries 15+1 with factory magazines, yes. It’s thin enough to disappear under a T-shirt, long enough in the grip to shoot well, and priced like a commodity because it is one. Our full Glock 43X review has the range results and the guns it beats.
Pay $448 for the standard gun or $484 for the MOS. Pay less when a big-box sale shows up. Do not pay more unless you’re buying something the plain gun doesn’t have.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a Glock 43X?
A new standard Glock 43X sells for $448 at most major US retailers as of September 2026, and the optics-ready 43X MOS sells for $484. Big-box stores occasionally run the standard gun below $448.
How much is a Glock 43X MOS?
The 43X MOS sells for $484 at most retailers, $36 more than the standard 43X. Factory packages that add an Aimpoint COA red dot run about $920 and up.
Does the Glock 43X ever go on sale?
Rarely. Since early July 2026 the standard 43X has held at $448 or $449 at most major retailers. The only lower new prices were occasional big-box sales, so anything under $448 on a factory-standard gun is a genuine discount.
How much is a used Glock 43X?
Used 43X pistols start around $400, including police trade-ins, but many used listings ask more than a new gun costs. A used 43X is only worth buying at a clear discount to the $448 new price.
Does the Glock 43X come with 15-round magazines?
Glock began shipping the 43X with factory 15-round magazines in 2026, but versions with 10-round magazines are still sold. Most retailers charge the same $448 for both, so check the listing title and buy the 15-round version.
Is the 43X MOS worth the extra money?
If you might ever mount a red dot, yes. The MOS costs about $36 more than the standard gun, far less than having a standard slide milled for an optic later.
What does a Glock 43X cost after shipping and transfer fees?
Expect roughly $490 to $515 before sales tax when you buy online: $448 for the pistol, $15 to $30 for shipping, and a $25 to $35 FFL transfer fee at most dealers.
