The Henry Classic Lever Action .22, model H001 and now sold as the H1 Classic, is a walnut-stocked lever gun that feeds .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle from one tube. We shot 1,200 rounds through a full-size rifle and a Youth model, sorted out the capacity figures Henry and its dealers disagree on, and priced every variant against its rivals.

We shot 300 rounds of .308 through a BRX1 Black, timed follow-up shots against a turn-bolt, and priced every caliber, the Ranch, the Carbon and Beretta’s conversion kit.

The Stoeger Condor is a budget over-under with screw-in chokes, extractors and a single trigger, listed from $399 to $899 across the Field, Compact, Supreme and Competition lines. We shot 1,000 shells through a walnut and a synthetic Condor Field 12 gauge, patterned both barrels and priced the variants against their closest rivals.
