HUXWRX FLOW 9 M: A Modular Titanium 9mm Can for $849

Last updated October 2026 · By Nick Hall, NFA owner who has followed pistol suppressor launches and pricing since the federal tax on cans went to $0

Quick take: HUXWRX has launched the FLOW 9 M, a 3D-printed titanium 9mm suppressor you can run short or long by adding or removing one module. It lists at $849 and ships with a booster for tilting-barrel pistols.

  • What it is: A modular Grade 23 titanium suppressor that measures 6.3 inches and 6.3 ounces short, or 8.6 inches and 8.5 ounces long.
  • Price: HUXWRX lists the FLOW 9 M at $849 MSRP in black or Flat Dark Earth.
  • Where: HUXWRX dealers, and like every suppressor it transfers on an approved ATF Form 4 through a dealer licensed for NFA sales.
  • Why it matters: One can covers 9mm pistols, carbines and rimfire, rated by HUXWRX up to .350 Legend, in a year when the federal transfer tax is $0.

Most 9mm cans make you pick a lane: short and light for the carry pistol, or long and quiet for the carbine. HUXWRX is selling the FLOW 9 M as both in one box, and it announced a stainless PCC can on the same day. We pulled the spec sheets, the white paper and the manual straight from HUXWRX so you don’t have to.

What HUXWRX Built Into the FLOW 9 M

HUXWRX Safety Co., based in Millcreek, Utah, announced the FLOW 9 M on October 2, 2026, calling it “a lightweight modular suppressor designed to adapt across a range of compatible firearm platforms.” The FLOW 9 M product page lists it at $849.

The build is the headline. HUXWRX says the FLOW 9 M is fully 3D-printed from Grade 23 titanium and finished in C-Series high temperature Cerakote, in black or Flat Dark Earth. The manual says every HUXWRX product is engineered, manufactured and tested in the United States.

Inside, it runs the company’s FLOW-Through design, which HUXWRX says is built “to direct propellant gases forward, reducing back pressure and toxic gas exposure while supporting consistent firearm operation.” Less gas in the face is the whole reason that design exists.

“The FLOW 9 M gives shooters the flexibility to move between compact and full-length configurations within one adaptable system,” said Darrell Morrow, Senior VP of Commercial & LE Sales at HUXWRX Safety Co. The white paper lists the product as “Fully developed, in production.”

Short or Long: The FLOW 9 M Spec Sheet

The module is the trick. The can ships preassembled in its short configuration, with a thread protector on the front, and you thread the extension module on by hand to make it long. Going back to short is the reverse, and the manual says an adjustable wrench on the piston flats helps if the module is stubborn.

Short, the FLOW 9 M is 6.3 inches long and weighs 6.3 ounces. Long, it is 8.6 inches and 8.5 ounces. Add the included booster assembly and those weights become 8.3 and 10.5 ounces, and the diameter is 1.375 inches either way.

In the box: the suppressor, the module, an external thread protector, a 1/2×28 piston and booster assembly, and a wrench. HUXWRX backs it with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

Upkeep is spelled out too. HUXWRX recommends cleaning the booster assembly after each session and a detailed cleaning of the can every 1,000 rounds.

Calibers and Mounts: One FLOW 9 M, Several Hosts

HUXWRX’s release lists 9mm, .22 LR, .17 HMR, 5.7, .300 Blackout subsonic and supersonic, and .350 Legend. But the FLOW 9 M white paper lists “300 BO Subsonic” only, so if you plan to run supersonic Blackout through it, get that confirmed by HUXWRX in writing before the first shot.

Mounting starts with the 1/2×28 booster that ships on the can. The manual is plain about why: the booster “is necessary to function on weapon systems where the barrel reciprocates to cycle,” which covers most 9mm handguns with a tilting barrel.

Beyond that, HUXWRX lists 3-lug and stiction adapters, plus direct-thread adapters in M13.5×1 LH, 1/2×28, 5/8×24 and 11/16×24. For a fixed-barrel host, the compatibility chart lists a fixed barrel spacer that has to be combined with the piston assembly, which is the setup most owners of the guns in our 9mm AR pistol and PCC rankings will want.

If you own a carry pistol, a 9mm carbine and a rimfire, the pitch is simple. One can, one Form 4, and a handful of adapters instead of three suppressors.

The FLOW 9k PCC Sitting Next to It

HUXWRX announced a second can on October 2, the FLOW 9k PCC, at $898. It is the dedicated carbine option: 5.33 inches long, 8.5 ounces and 1.47 inches across, 3D-printed from stainless steel instead of titanium.

It covers the same caliber list as the FLOW 9 M and is built around the HUB mounting standard, with direct thread, 3-lug, pistol, QD and Stiction Lock options. It ships with a 1/2×28 direct-thread adapter and a wrench, in Matte Black or Flat Dark Earth.

Put the two side by side and the trade is clear. The 9k PCC is almost an inch shorter than the FLOW 9 M in its short setup, 2.2 ounces heavier and $49 more, and HUXWRX’s own pitch for it is a can that stands up to high-volume carbine use. If you shoot a PCC hard and rarely suppress a pistol, that is your can. If one suppressor has to do pistol and carbine duty, the FLOW 9 M is the better fit.

What the $0 Stamp Does, and Doesn’t, Change for a FLOW 9 M

The federal transfer tax on a suppressor has been $0 since January 1, 2026. ATF’s May 2026 final rule says the One Big Beautiful Bill Act cut the making and transfer taxes to $0 for every NFA firearm other than machine guns and destructive devices, and that a $200 tax used to ride along with each Form 4.

So the $849 sticker is now most of the bill. A year ago, the same can would have cost you $1,049 before any dealer transfer fee, and that $200 was close to a quarter of the price of the can itself.

The paperwork has not gone anywhere. The same rule says “all other regulatory provisions of the NFA application and registration process remain in full force and effect,” and our $0 tax stamp explainer walks through what that means at the counter. The registration fight is a separate story: DOJ told the Texas court on October 1 that it “has determined not to file an appeal,” and our post on DOJ not appealing the Texas NFA ruling covers who that ruling does and does not reach.

State law still applies on top of all of it. Check your state before you order, because a $0 federal tax does not make a suppressor legal where your state bans one.

When You Can Buy a FLOW 9 M

HUXWRX says the FLOW 9 M became available October 1 at $849 MSRP, and its product page points buyers to a dealer locator. Expect the usual NFA routine after that: pick a dealer, file the Form 4 and wait for approval before the can goes home with you.

Titanium. Short or long. One stamp that costs nothing. That’s the whole pitch.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the HUXWRX FLOW 9 M cost?

HUXWRX lists the FLOW 9 M at $849 MSRP, in black or Flat Dark Earth. The federal transfer tax on a suppressor has been $0 since January 1, 2026, so there is no $200 stamp on top of that price.

How long and heavy is the HUXWRX FLOW 9 M?

In its short configuration it is 6.3 inches long and weighs 6.3 ounces. With the extension module it is 8.6 inches and 8.5 ounces. The included booster assembly brings those weights to 8.3 and 10.5 ounces, and the diameter is 1.375 inches.

What calibers can I shoot through the FLOW 9 M?

HUXWRX lists 9mm, .22 LR, .17 HMR, 5.7, .300 Blackout and .350 Legend. The release says .300 Blackout subsonic and supersonic, while the white paper lists .300 Blackout subsonic only, so confirm with HUXWRX before running supersonic loads.

Will the FLOW 9 M work on a 9mm pistol?

Yes. It ships with a 1/2x28 booster assembly, and HUXWRX says the booster is necessary on guns where the barrel moves to cycle, which covers most tilting-barrel 9mm pistols.

What mounts does the FLOW 9 M support?

It ships with a 1/2x28 booster. HUXWRX also lists 3-lug and stiction adapters, direct-thread adapters in M13.5x1 LH, 1/2x28, 5/8x24 and 11/16x24, and a fixed barrel spacer for fixed-barrel hosts.

What is the difference between the FLOW 9 M and the FLOW 9k PCC?

The FLOW 9 M is titanium, modular and $849. The FLOW 9k PCC is a stainless steel carbine can at $898 that is 5.33 inches long, 8.5 ounces and HUB mount compatible, with the same caliber list.

Do I still need a Form 4 for a HUXWRX suppressor?

Yes. The tax is $0, but ATF says the rest of the NFA application and registration process remains in effect, so you still buy through a dealer licensed for NFA transfers. State suppressor laws also still apply.
