What the Free XD-M Elite OSP 10mm Actually Is

The XD-M Elite OSP in 10mm is a real flagship pistol, not a clearance-rack fill. I’ve handled the META-trigger XD-M Elite at length and it earns the flagship label.

It runs a 4.5-inch barrel, holds 16+1 rounds of 10mm, and ships with the Springfield META trigger system featuring a flat-face trigger and short reset. The slide is cut for an optic, and it includes a magwell installed. MSRP is $674.

Street pricing on the XD-M Elite OSP 10mm has been running $529 to $599 in the months before the promo, which is the actual rebate value most buyers will compare against. How the Springfield Model 2020 Gear Up Math Works

The qualifying Model 2020 rifles are the high-grade end of Springfield’s bolt-action catalog. The Waypoint is the precision-hunting flagship with carbon-fiber stock options, a Bartlein-blank barrel, and a $1,799 to $2,899 MSRP depending on trim. The Boundary is the lightweight backcountry hunter at $1,499 to $1,799. The Redline is the carbon-stock ultralight at $2,399.

The free XD-M Elite (or Hellcat Pro substitute) ships to the same FFL that handled the rifle transfer, and the customer pays whatever transfer fee that FFL charges on the pistol. The promo cannot stack with any other active Springfield Armory promotion.

And one footnote on timing: dealer inventory on the Model 2020 line tends to thin in late summer because hunting season starts pulling rifles out of distribution channels by August. If you want a specific Waypoint configuration, buying earlier in the window is the safer play.
