The SIG P365 changed the concealed carry market when it launched with a 10+1 capacity in a micro-compact frame that nobody thought was possible. Since then, the family has exploded: the P365X, P365XL, P365-XMACRO, P365-AXG Legion, P365-380 and the P365-FUSE each offer different size and capacity configurations. The aftermarket followed right behind with optic-cut slides, threaded barrels, flat triggers, grip modules, and extended magazines.

We compare SIG P365 parts from Brownells, Palmetto State Armory, MidwayUSA, Optics Planet, and 200+ other retailers so you can find the best price on every upgrade. Filter by part type, brand, and price. Every link goes straight to the retailer.

The P365 family has some quirks when it comes to parts compatibility between models. Read the compatibility guide below before you order, especially if you’re swapping between the standard P365, XL, and XMACRO.

Why the P365 Platform Is Worth Building On

The P365 didn’t just win the micro-compact wars. It created a whole platform that keeps growing. What started as a single model is now a family of more than a dozen models (P365, P365-380, P365 SAS, P365X, P365XL, P365-XMACRO, P365-AXG Legion, P365-FUSE and more) that share one removable fire control unit.

I carry a P365XL daily and I’ve gone through more configurations than I’d like to admit. Wilson Combat grip module, Holosun 507K on an optic-cut slide, Armory Craft flat trigger. Every swap made the gun shoot better and carry better. Grip module and slide swaps need no tools beyond a takedown. Trigger swaps are a different story: SIG says its flat trigger kit should be installed by a certified SIG armorer, and Armory Craft says its triggers are intended for a qualified gunsmith or licensed armorer.

The aftermarket keeps getting deeper. Parts that didn’t exist two years ago are now commodity items with competitive pricing across dozens of retailers. That’s exactly why this price comparison tool exists. Why pay full MSRP at one store when another has the same part for 20% less?

P365 Parts Compatibility: What Fits What

This is the section that will save you from ordering the wrong part. The P365 family looks modular, and much of it is, but there are important differences between models that affect which parts fit where.

Key takeaways: The FCU and trigger group are shared across the 9mm P365 family and the P365-380, except California-compliant FCUs (magazine disconnect) and some manual-safety combinations. Grip modules swap between models only when the dust cover matches the slide length: SIG says its XMACRO grip needs a P365-XL or XMACRO length slide, and the P365-FUSE grip is cut for its 6 7/8" slide. Slides and barrels come in two lengths: 3.1″ (P365/P365X) and 3.7″ (P365XL/XMACRO). You cannot put a 3.7″ slide on a 3.1″ barrel or vice versa. Magazines from longer grips work in shorter grips (they’ll just stick out). Shorter magazines won’t fit in longer grip modules, and the narrower 10, 12 and 15-round P365 magazines do not fit XMACRO, AXG or FUSE grips.

A useful trick: SIG says its 17-round XMACRO magazine fits all 9mm P365 models and ships with two extra floor plates for the P365, P365X and P365XL grip lengths. The baseplate extends below the grip, but you get 17+1 in an XL-size gun. It’s a great option for range or nightstand use.

SIG P365 family prices on sigsauer.com in October 2026, from the $488 P365X to the $1,219.99 P365-AXG Legion

Slides and Optic Cuts

Current P365, P365X and P365XL slides come from the factory with an optic cut for the Shield RMSc footprint. SIG’s newer RXSL models use the SIG-LOC Compact interface instead, which takes SIG’s own ROMEO-X Compact SIG-LOC optic. RMSc is smaller than the RMR footprint used on full-size guns. Make sure any optic you buy matches your slide (RMSc-pattern or SIG-LOC Compact), not RMR. Check our red dot footprint chart before you order.

For an early P365 without a factory optic cut, aftermarket optic-ready slides from Zaffiri Precision, Grey Ghost Precision, and others are the way to go. They’re milled for the RMSc footprint, come in various finishes, and many add enhanced serrations and lightening cuts. SIG also sells a factory optic-ready slide separately if you want to keep things OEM.

Remember that P365/P365X slides (3.1″) are not the same length as P365XL/XMACRO slides (3.7″). When shopping for an aftermarket slide, confirm it matches your barrel length. A 3.7″ XL slide will not fit on a standard P365 without the matching 3.7″ barrel.

Barrels: Threaded, Match, and Factory

Non-threaded P365 barrels come in 3.1″ for the P365, P365X and XMACRO COMP, 3.7″ for the P365XL and non-comp XMACRO, and 4.3″ for the P365-FUSE. Threaded barrels run longer than the slide they fit: SIG’s threaded barrel for 3.1″ slides is 3.7″, for 3.7″ slides it is 4.3″, and for the FUSE it is 4.9″, all threaded 1/2-28 RH. Make sure you buy the right length for your slide. This seems obvious but people get it wrong constantly when shopping online.

True Precision makes the best aftermarket P365 barrels, available in both standard and threaded configurations with multiple finishes. SIG’s factory threaded barrels are also solid. Faxon is another quality option at a competitive price point.

A threaded barrel on a micro-compact is a conversation piece. Yes, you can run a compensator on a P365 (and it does help with muzzle flip). Running a suppressor on a micro-compact is possible but turns a pocketable gun into something decidedly not pocketable. If you’re going to suppress a P365, an XL barrel and slide is the more practical base. But hey, it’s your gun. I’ve done it and it’s fun, even if it’s silly.

Triggers and Trigger Kits

The factory P365 trigger is good for a carry gun. It’s not the mushy mess that stock Glocks are known for. That said, a flat-face trigger upgrade is the most popular modification on the platform for a reason. The flat face gives a more consistent pull feel, and the aftermarket options clean up the take-up and break noticeably.

The Armory Craft P365 flat trigger is my pick. It lists at $89.95 ($74.95 on sale at armorycraft.com), adds an overtravel adjustment screw that Armory Craft says shortens reset by 4 to 6 mm, and fits every P365 model including the XMACRO and FUSE. The Grayguns P365 Adjustable Straight Trigger is the other strong option, with an adjustment that removes all overtravel. SIG’s own P365 Flat Trigger Kit ($49.99) is the most conservative upgrade if you want to stay fully OEM. SIG and Armory Craft both say a trigger swap belongs with a certified armorer or gunsmith.

Critical note: P365 triggers are NOT the same as P320 triggers. They are different designs with different dimensions. Do not buy a P320 trigger for your P365 or vice versa. Always confirm P365 compatibility before ordering.

Grip Modules: The Real Customization Play

Grip module swaps are the easiest, most impactful upgrade on the P365 platform. Pop out the FCU, drop it in a new grip, done. The grip determines the size of the gun, the capacity, and how it feels in your hand.

The Wilson Combat WCP365 grip module is outstanding. The stippling pattern is the best in the business: aggressive enough for a secure hold, fine enough that it doesn’t shred your skin during concealed carry. It comes as the WCP365 (standard P365 size) and WCP365 XL, both $66.95 at wilsoncombat.com, plus XMACRO and XMACRO Short versions at $77.95. I’ve been running one for months and it’s the best feeling P365 grip I’ve used.

The Icarus Precision ACE365 is the aluminum-framed option for people who want a P365 that feels like a metal gun. It adds noticeable weight (which helps with recoil) and has a premium machined feel that polymer can’t replicate. At $379.99 to $389.99 for the current A.C.E. 365 X EVO and XL EVO, it’s a serious investment for a micro-compact, but if you’re building an ultimate P365 setup, it’s worth handling one.

For a capacity boost, the XMACRO grip module gives you 17-round flush-fit magazines in a grip that’s still surprisingly concealable. It’s bigger than the XL grip but not by as much as you’d expect. If you want the most rounds possible in a P365-based platform, this is the grip to get.

Magazines and Capacity Options

The P365 family offers 10, 12, 15, 17, 21 and 25-round factory magazine options depending on configuration. Here’s how they break down:

10-round: Flush fit in the standard P365 grip. Also available for capacity-restricted states. 12-round: Flush fit in the P365X and P365XL grips. The most popular carry configuration. 15-round: Extended magazine for the P365, P365X and P365XL (SIG says it does not fit XMACRO, AXG or FUSE grips). 17-round: Flush fit in the XMACRO grip, works as an extended in XL grips. 21-round: Standard magazine of the P365-FUSE (21+1); SIG says it fits all 9mm P365 models and leaves a gap below P365, P365X and P365XL grips. 25-round: SIG’s longest factory P365 magazine, also for all 9mm models.

One thing people always ask: is there a Shield Arms S15 equivalent for the P365? The answer is no. Shield Arms makes the S15 for the Glock 43X/48 specifically. The good news is that SIG’s magazine lineup already covers every capacity you’d want, from 10 rounds for legal compliance to 25 rounds for the range.

SIG magazines are well-made and priced fairly, at $49.99 for the 10, 12 and 15-round P365 magazines and $59.99 to $69.99 for the 17, 21 and 25-round magazines at sigsauer.com. SIG says its magazines are sourced from multiple manufacturers and made to SIG’s specifications.

Optics for the P365: The RMSc Footprint

If your P365 has an optic-ready slide (current P365, P365X, XL, XMACRO, FUSE, or aftermarket), it uses the Shield RMSc footprint, unless it is a SIG-LOC Compact slide (RXSL models), which takes SIG’s SIG-LOC Compact optics. RMSc is a micro red dot footprint that’s smaller than the RMR pattern used on full-size pistols. You need a micro-sized optic, not a standard pistol dot.

The Holosun 407K and 507K are the most popular choices by a wide margin. The 407K X2 gives you a simple 6 MOA dot. The 507K X2 adds a 2 MOA dot and 32 MOA circle reticle system; both have Shake Awake. Holosun.com lists the 407K X2 at $264.69 and the 507K X2 at $348.22. They’re the optics I see on more carry P365s than everything else combined.

The Shield RMSc is the original optic the footprint is named for. SIG’s original Romeo Zero uses a polymer lens that gets criticized for durability. The Romeo Zero Elite fixed this with a glass aspherical lens. Current factory optic packages ship with the ROMEO-RS Compact or ROMEO-X Compact SIG-LOC instead.

Night Sights and Suppressor-Height Sights

If you’re running iron sights only, upgrading from factory is a no-brainer. Trijicon HD XR night sights are the gold standard, same as on every other platform, and they fit dovetail P365 models: an orange or yellow photoluminescent front outline, a black-outlined rear, and tritium front and rear for low light. SIG X-Ray3 night sights are excellent if you want to stay OEM. Meprolight makes solid budget alternatives.

If you’re running a red dot, suppressor-height sights are mandatory for co-witness. They sit tall enough to be visible through the optic window, giving you a backup aiming solution if the battery dies or the optic fails. Dawson Precision sells a fixed co-witness sight set for the P365 with a Holosun EPS Carry, and Night Fision sells P320/P365 suppressor-height sets. Many shooters run a lower 1/3 co-witness, which means the irons sit in the lower third of the optic window and don’t clutter your dot picture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are SIG P365 and P365XL parts interchangeable?

Some parts swap and others do not. Triggers and the FCU are shared across the 9mm P365 family and the P365-380, except California-compliant FCUs. Grip modules swap only when the dust cover matches the slide length. Slides and barrels come in 3.1 inches for the P365 and P365X, 3.7 inches for the P365XL and non-comp XMACRO (the XMACRO COMP has a 3.1 inch barrel in an XL-length slide), and 4.3 inches for the P365-FUSE. You cannot use an XL slide with a standard P365 barrel. Magazines from longer grips work in shorter grips with the baseplate extending below.

What optic footprint does the SIG P365 use?

Most optic-ready P365 slides use the Shield RMSc footprint for micro red dot optics; SIG's RXSL models use the SIG-LOC Compact interface for SIG's own ROMEO-X Compact SIG-LOC. RMSc is smaller than the RMR footprint used on full-size pistols. Compatible optics include the Holosun 407K and 507K, Shield RMSc, and SIG Romeo Zero and Romeo Zero Elite. Do not buy an RMR-pattern optic for the P365 as it will not fit.

What is the best trigger upgrade for the SIG P365?

The Armory Craft P365 flat trigger ($89.95 list, with an overtravel adjustment screw) and the Grayguns P365 Adjustable Straight Trigger are two leading aftermarket options. Both let you remove overtravel to shorten reset. SIG also sells a factory P365 Flat Trigger Kit for $49.99. Important: P365 triggers are not the same as P320 triggers. Always buy a trigger specifically made for the P365.

Do XMACRO magazines fit the P365XL?

Yes. SIG says its 17-round XMACRO magazine fits all 9mm P365 models, and it ships with two extra floor plates for the P365, P365X and P365XL grip lengths. The magazine extends below the XL grip module. This gives you 17+1 capacity in an XL-size gun, which is a popular configuration for home defense and range use.

What grip module should I get for the P365?

The Wilson Combat WCP365 is the best value at $66.95 at wilsoncombat.com, with excellent stippling and improved ergonomics. The Icarus Precision A.C.E. 365 EVO is the premium aluminum option at $379.99 to $389.99 for a metal-frame feel. The XMACRO grip module maximizes capacity with 17-round flush-fit magazines. Your choice depends on whether you prioritize grip texture, weight, or capacity.

Is the SIG P365 Fuse compatible with older P365 parts?

Partly. The P365-FUSE uses the same P365 fire control unit, so P365 triggers such as the SIG Flat Trigger Kit and Armory Craft flat trigger fit it. Its 6 7/8 inch slide and 4.3 inch barrel are FUSE-specific, its grip module is cut for that slide, and it takes the XMACRO-width 17, 21 and 25-round magazines, not the 10, 12 or 15-round P365 magazines. Check compatibility with the manufacturer before assuming older P365 parts will fit the FUSE.

Can you put a threaded barrel on a SIG P365?

Yes. True Precision, SIG, and Faxon all make threaded barrels for both 3.1 inch slides (P365/P365X) and 3.7 inch slides (P365XL/non-comp XMACRO). Threaded barrels are longer than the slide: SIG's are 3.7 inches and 4.3 inches respectively, threaded 1/2-28. Buy the barrel made for your slide length. A threaded barrel lets you run a compensator for reduced muzzle flip or a suppressor for quiet shooting.

What are the best night sights for the SIG P365?

Trijicon HD XR night sights are the top pick for iron-sight-only setups on dovetail P365 models, with an orange or yellow front outline and tritium inserts. SIG X-Ray3 sights are excellent if you prefer staying OEM. If running a red dot optic, co-witness sights such as Dawson Precision's P365 set for the Holosun EPS Carry or Night Fision suppressor-height sets provide a backup. Meprolight offers solid budget alternatives for all configurations.
