Derya TM22 Timekeeper: A $249 Threaded .22 Rifle

Last updated October 2026 · By Nick Hall, who has covered Derya’s 2026 launches, from the EX1500 shotgun to the OBone suppressor

Quick take: Derya Arms has launched the TM22 Timekeeper, a semi-auto .22 LR rifle with an 18 inch threaded barrel, a push-button adjustable stock and upgraded sights, at an MSRP of $249. It is the TM22 with the upgrades most owners add later already on the gun.

  • Price: $249 MSRP, the same as the TM22 Feather and $110 more than the TM22 Standard.
  • Barrel: 18 inches, threaded 1/2×28 for a suppressor, with a 1:16 right-hand twist.
  • Furniture: Push-button adjustable stock with a cheek riser and basepad adjustment, and a full-length rear Picatinny rail.
  • Size: 4.85 pounds and 36 inches long, with two 10-round magazines in the box.

A $249 .22 that already has a threaded barrel and a decent stock is a sensible first rifle and a cheap suppressor host. Derya is betting that buyers would rather pay a little more up front than buy the upgrades separately.

What Derya Announced

Derya Arms announced the TM22 Timekeeper on October 21, 2026. The company describes itself as a manufacturer with production in Jacksonville, Florida, and Konya, Türkiye.

The Timekeeper is built on the existing TM22 semi-auto action. What is new is the package around it: an adjustable stock, an 18 inch threaded barrel and a better set of sights than the basic models.

Dustin Jones, Derya’s vice president, summed it up: “The Timekeeper is the full package version.” He added that it is “still light, still simple, and still built to run all day.”

Specs and Price

Derya’s product page lists the Timekeeper at an MSRP of $249. The barrel is 18 inches, threaded 1/2×28 with a 1:16 right-hand twist, and the rifle weighs 4.85 pounds and is 36 inches long.

The stock is a push-button adjustable design with a cheek riser and basepad adjustment, so you can set length of pull and cheek weld. Up front is a removable ramped front sight, and the rear sight sits on a full-length Picatinny rail that also takes optics.

The finish on the 18 inch model page is black anodized metal and black polymer. It ships with two 10-round magazines, a tool kit and a manual, and Derya backs it with a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner.

Where It Sits in the TM22 Lineup

Derya sells several TM22 versions, and the product page lists their prices side by side. The TM22 Standard is $139, the Feather is $249, the Metal is $349 and the Lever is $399.

So the Timekeeper costs $110 more than the Standard and the same as the Feather. For that money you get the adjustable stock, the threaded 18 inch barrel and the rail-mounted rear sight. Derya’s pitch on the sights is that “No immediate sight swap is required for clear target acquisition on the range or in the field,” while the rail stays free for a scope or red dot when you want one.

One note on state rules. Derya’s page lists the 18 inch Timekeeper as Maryland compliant, and not California or Massachusetts compliant, so buyers in those two states should look elsewhere.

Why a Threaded .22 Matters Now

A threaded .22 rifle is the cheapest and quietest way into suppressed shooting, and the paperwork side of suppressors has changed a lot this year. Our report on ATF’s NFA guidance covers what that means for buyers.

Derya has been busy in this space. It launched its first suppressor, the $199 OBone .22 can, earlier in October, and a Timekeeper with an OBone on the end would be a full suppressed rimfire setup for under $450 in MSRPs.

How It Compares

The obvious rival is the Ruger 10/22, which most .22 rifles get measured against. Our Ruger 10/22 models explained guide covers the versions that compete with this, and our best .22 LR rifles guide has the wider field.

We have not shot the Timekeeper yet, so we cannot tell you how it groups or how it runs on cheap bulk ammo. On paper, though, it is a lot of rifle for $249.
