Derya TM22 Pump: A Threaded, Mag-Fed .22 Pump for $429

Last updated November 2026 · By Nick Hall, who has covered every Derya TM22 launch this fall and checks each spec table against the release

Quick take: Derya has put a pump action on its TM22 .22 LR platform. The TM22 Pump is magazine-fed, threaded for a suppressor and lists at $429, and Derya marks it compliant in California, Maryland and Massachusetts.

  • What it is: A magazine-fed .22 LR pump-action rifle with an 18-inch rifled barrel threaded 1/2×28, and Derya’s release adds a 20-inch version.
  • Price: Derya lists the 18-inch TM22.PUMP.18 at $429 MSRP, which is $180 more than the semi-auto TM22 Timekeeper.
  • Where: Derya says the Pump is available through its authorized dealer network nationwide.
  • Why it matters: Unlike the semi-auto TM22 Timekeeper, Derya marks it compliant in California and Massachusetts as well as Maryland.

A .22 pump is about the least fashionable rifle you can launch in 2026. And that might be the point. We pulled the product page, the spec table and Derya’s release so you don’t have to, and the three agree on the price and the threads but not on how many barrel lengths you can actually buy.

What Derya Put Into the TM22 Pump

Derya’s TM22 Pump product page describes the gun as “a mag-fed 22lr rifle” that brings pump-action shooting to the TM22 platform. The barrel is an 18-inch rifled target barrel, threaded 1/2×28 at the muzzle, and the release gives the twist as 1:16 right hand.

The spec table lists 4.85 pounds, 36 inches overall, 2.25 inches wide and 5 inches tall. Finish is matte, Parkerized steel and anodized aluminum, and Derya calls it “an heirloom-grade rimfire” built from steel and aluminum.

Sighting is simple. There is a front bead and a top Picatinny rail, so iron-sight purists get a bead and everyone else gets somewhere to put a red dot or a small scope.

The stock is what Derya calls its All Generation stock, with an adjustable cheek pad and basepads that set length of pull. The release describes it as “classic-styled,” and the grip type in the spec table reads N/A, so this is a straight shotgun-style stock with no separate pistol grip. Derya’s own side-on photo matches that.

The Magazine Is the Whole Pitch

The feed is the clever part. The TM22 Pump runs the same 10-round TM22 box magazines as the rest of the family, and Derya says 15- and 25-round aftermarket magazines work too.

Dustin Jones, Vice President of Derya Arms, put it plainly in the release: “You get the magazines you already trust, a threaded barrel ready for a can.” He says the Pump gives the TM22 “the classic pump-action experience shooters already know,” and he signs off with “Pump up the underdog.”

Same mags, new action. If you already own a TM22 Timekeeper or a TM22 Lever, your spare magazines carry straight over.

In the box you get two 10-round magazines, an Allen key and a Derya bag holding the user manual and a WTTA flyer.

The 20-Inch TM22 Pump Lives in the Release, Not the Store

Derya’s release says the Pump comes in 18-inch (TM22.PUMP.18) and 20-inch (TM22.PUMP.20) barrel configurations, both at one USA MSRP of $429. The product page tells a narrower story.

It lists one SKU, TM22.PUMP.18, with one spec table built around the 18-inch barrel. There is no option to pick a 20-inch gun, and Derya publishes no separate weight or length for it. The release gives a single figure, “approximately 4.85 pounds,” for the Pump as a whole.

So if you want the longer barrel, ask your dealer for TM22.PUMP.20 by name and confirm the weight and length on the box before you pay.

Why $429 Sits Between the Timekeeper and the Lever

Lay the Pump next to the TM22 Timekeeper and the numbers look familiar. Derya’s Timekeeper spec table gives the semi-auto an 18-inch threaded barrel with the same 1:16 twist, 36 inches overall, 4.85 pounds and two 10-round magazines in the box, for $249.

That makes the Pump $180 more for what looks like the same size, weight and barrel. You are paying for the action and the stock, plus something the Timekeeper does not have, which comes up in the next section.

The closer sibling on price is the TM22 Lever at $399, a lever-action .22 with a 20-inch barrel, a bead, a rail, 38 inches overall and 5.3 pounds. The 18-inch Pump costs $30 more than that Lever, and for the extra money it comes out 2 inches shorter overall and 0.45 pounds lighter, swaps the lever for a slide you work with your support hand, and still takes the same 10-round TM22 box magazines.

If you came for a short, quick semi-auto, the Timekeeper is still the value buy. If you want a manual action, the choice between Lever and Pump is about which hand you would rather work, and Derya now sells both.

The Compliance Flag Is the Real Story

Derya’s spec table marks the TM22 Pump compliant in California, Maryland and Massachusetts, and the release says both barrel lengths are compliant in all three states. Compare that with the Timekeeper, which Derya marks compliant in Maryland but not in California or Massachusetts.

For a buyer in one of those two states, that is the difference between a threaded 18-inch TM22 you can order and one you cannot. Our California gun laws guide covers the wider rules, and the last word is your dealer’s, because a maker’s compliance flag is the maker’s reading, not a ruling.

But compliant rifle does not mean legal suppressor. Massachusetts law, Chapter 269, Section 10A, makes it a crime for anyone other than a licensed manufacturer or authorized law enforcement to possess a silencer, punishable by up to five years in state prison. The threads on a Massachusetts Pump are not for a can.

Elsewhere the threads mean what Derya intends. Its OBone .22 suppressor lists at $199 and direct-threads 1/2″-28, so the Pump and the can come to $628 in MSRPs. Check our suppressor laws by state page before you buy either.

When You Can Buy the Derya TM22 Pump

Derya says the TM22 Pump is available through its authorized dealer network nationwide. Derya’s own store is a different matter: as this goes up, the product page carries an out of stock flag and does not take orders, so start with a dealer.

Derya backs it with its limited lifetime warranty, which covers the original customer and is not transferable. Derya builds in Jacksonville, Florida, and Konya, Türkiye.

No one needs a pump .22. Plenty of people will want one anyway.
