Last updated October 2026 · By Nick Hall, tracks every new lever gun and shotgun launch for USA Gun Shop readers
Quick take: Derya just added a lever-action .410 shotgun, the EX1500, to its imported EX line, and it is shipping to dealers now. Prices run $799 to $999 MSRP across three barrel lengths, which puts the cheapest one well under the best-known lever .410 on the market.
- What it is: A Turkish-built lever-action .410 with a mono-block steel receiver, a 5-round tube and Mobilchoke-threaded barrels in 18, 20 or 24 inches.
- Price: $799 MSRP for the 20-inch Walnut Nickel and $999 for both the 18-inch Ironwolf and the 24-inch engraved hard chrome model.
- Where: Derya says all three are shipping now through its authorized dealer network nationwide.
- Why it matters: The walnut field gun lists $330 below the MSRP of Henry’s lever-action H18 X Model .410.
If you wanted a new lever-action .410 in the last few years, Henry was the obvious name to shop, and Henry pricing was the price of entry. Derya is betting a lot of buyers would take Turkish walnut, a 14-inch length of pull and a sub-$800 MSRP instead. We pulled the spec sheet, the release and the owner’s manual straight from Derya so you don’t have to.

What’s in the Derya EX1500 Run
Derya announced the EX1500 on October 1, 2026, as the third gun in its EX line, the label it uses for shotguns built in Turkey and exported to the US. The EX1300 over/under and the EX1400 side-by-side came first. This one adds the lever gun.
There are three configurations, each with its own item number:
EX1500.410.18, 18-inch Ironwolf: black Melonite steel, Derya’s patented Ironwolf adjustable aluminum stock with a cheek rest and height wheel, M-LOK forend with Picatinny rail. Overall length is 36.6 inches and unloaded weight is 7.87 pounds. $999 MSRP.
EX1500.410.20, 20-inch Walnut Nickel: nickel-finished steel receiver, Turkish walnut stock and M-LOK forend, 38.6 inches long and 6.61 pounds. Derya bills it as the balanced field gun of the line. $799 MSRP.
EX1500.410.24, 24-inch Walnut Engraved Hard Chrome: engraved hard-chrome receiver, Turkish walnut furniture, 42.6 inches and 7.0 pounds. This is the one Derya pitches as the heirloom configuration. $999 MSRP.
Derya’s own EX1500 product page shows the same $799.00 to $999.00 spread. Every model has a 14-inch length of pull and a 4.4-pound trigger, per the release.
The Mono-Block Receiver and the Mobilchoke Frame
The receiver is a single-piece steel mono-block, the same construction Derya uses on its RAN lever rifles, and the furniture comes from that same family. If you read our piece on the Derya RANX braced lever pistol, this is that platform reworked around a .410 shotshell.
A short-throw lever feeds a 5-round tubular magazine, and the owner’s manual lists capacity as 5+1. The same manual lists the chamber as “Accepts 2½” Shells,” so 3-inch .410 loads are out. Check the shell length printed on the box before you buy ammo for this one.
The choke system is the detail I like most. Every barrel is a smooth bore internally threaded for Benelli/Beretta Mobilchoke tubes, and Derya ships Full, Modified and Cylinder in the box. That means a Benelli and Beretta pattern rather than a one-off proprietary thread. Our shotgun choke explainer covers what each constriction does to a pattern.
Sights are a fixed front iron and an adjustable rear, with a Picatinny rail on top for a red dot. Safety is a rebounding hammer, and Derya says the platform keeps high parts commonality with the RAN.
How the $799 Derya EX1500 Stacks Up Against Henry
The obvious comparison is Henry. Its H18 X Model .410 is a lever-action shotgun with a 19.8-inch barrel, a 6-round capacity, 2 1/2-inch shells only and a 7.5-pound weight, and Henry lists it at $1,129 MSRP.
Put the 20-inch Derya next to it and the walnut gun is $330 cheaper on paper, roughly the same barrel length, about 0.9 pounds lighter, and one round shorter in the tube. Henry threads its barrel for Invector-style chokes and ships a Full tube. Derya ships three tubes in a different pattern.
Henry’s name carries real weight with lever-gun buyers. Derya is newer here, since the company only began selling to American consumers in January 2025, though it was founded in 1998 and sells in more than 86 countries.
If you want the proven name and the extra round, Henry still makes sense. If you want walnut, three chokes and $330 back in your pocket, the EX1500 changes the math. Our roundup of the best .410 shotguns lays out the rest of the class, from single shots to pumps.
The California, Maryland and Massachusetts Claim
Derya’s release says “All three models are California, Maryland, and Massachusetts compliant” and the product page carries a “Yes” on each of those three compliance rows. That is the maker’s claim, and it is a strong selling point for buyers in those three states.
But a maker’s compliance line is not a legal opinion, and Derya does not spell out which state rules it checked the gun against. If you live in one of those states, run the exact item number past your dealer before you put money down.
Derya also says the gun ships without extra magazines or locks. Budget for a lock if your state or your dealer wants one at transfer.
When Can I Buy the Derya EX1500
Now, per Derya. The October 1 release says all three models “are shipping now through Derya’s authorized dealer network nationwide” and the product page is live with configuration selection.
Each gun comes in a Derya bag with the manual, a WTTA flyer, a cleaning cloth and a tool, backed by a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner that does not transfer if you sell it. Derya pitches the line at new shooters, small game and pest control, which is exactly where a .410 lever earns its keep.
“Same mono-block steel. Three barrel lengths. Work the lever. Own the field,” said Dustin Jones, Vice President of Derya Arms, in the release.
