They’re Golden Boy Silver .22 lever guns dressed in 24kt gold and exhibition walnut, with only 250 of each, sold only on Henry’s own website.

The Seven Henry Founding Fathers Rifles, Founder by Founder
Henry announced the series from Rice Lake, Wisconsin on September 16, 2026, in its own release. All seven rifles share one spec sheet. The differences are the gold portrait, the founder’s name on the receiver, and a left-side gold vignette tied to his role.
George Washington: the left side shows Washington in the field during the Revolution. John Adams: Adams the diplomat abroad, with ships. Thomas Jefferson: the drafting of the Declaration.
James Madison: the Constitutional Convention. Benjamin Franklin: Franklin the statesman and inventor. Henry’s page notes he is the only founder to sign all four founding documents: the Declaration, the Treaty of Alliance with France, the Treaty of Paris and the Constitution.
Alexander Hamilton: Hamilton at work on the nation’s finances. John Jay: the scales of justice, for the first Chief Justice.
Every receiver cover also carries the founder’s name, the 1776 and 2026 dates, and gold "America’s Founding Fathers" and "USA 250" detailing, plus the One of 250 and Series of Seven marks. Henry’s release says the artwork is made by mechanically transferring a hand-cut master engraving to each rifle. So the design was cut by hand once, and each gun carries a transfer of it, not a one-off hand engraving.
What’s Under the Gold: the Golden Boy Silver Spec Sheet
The base rifle is Henry’s Golden Boy Silver, the same rimfire lever-gun family as the brass-receiver rifle in our Henry Golden Boy review. Henry lists identical specs for all seven editions.
It’s chambered in .22 S/L/LR, so it feeds shorts, longs and long rifle, with a magazine capacity of 16 long rifle, 18 long or 23 short. The barrel is a 20-inch blued steel octagon with a 1:16 twist, overall length is 38.5 inches, and Henry lists the weight at 6.75 pounds.
Sights are a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with a diamond insert and a brass bead front, and the receiver is drilled and tapped. The straight-grip stock is exhibition-grade American walnut, the top grade Henry uses, with a nickel-plated buttplate and a 14-inch length of pull.
Henry says the walnut is sustainably sourced from old-growth trees. Every rifle is roll-marked "Henry Repeating Arms, Rice Lake, WI, Made in USA."
Will anyone actually shoot one? A few will. Under the gold it is still a 20-inch .22 lever gun that eats cheap ammo all day, and that is a better collector piece than a gun you are scared to touch.
Henry Founding Fathers Pricing, Sets and the Sold-Out Serials
Each rifle is $1,776, a price that needs no explanation. Seven of them bought one at a time comes to $12,432. Henry sells the complete collection as one purchase for $10,150, which is $2,282 less, or $1,450 a rifle.
The launch plan set aside ten complete matched sets carrying the same serial number across all seven rifles. Henry’s collection page now says all ten of those low, matching-serial sets have sold out. The sets still on offer aren’t serial-number matched, and Henry assigns serials in the order it receives orders, with no specific number requests.
Buying is factory direct at Henry’s Founding Fathers collection page, and every rifle has to ship to a federally licensed dealer. There is no international shipping. Your local shop handles the transfer and the background check like any other online gun purchase.
Where the Founding Fathers Series Fits in Henry’s 250th Year
This isn’t Henry’s first America 250 product. The company rolled out its America’s 250th Anniversary Collection of three flag-finished lever guns in June. The Founding Fathers series is the follow-up, and Henry is pitching it squarely at collectors.
"This is, without a doubt, the most ambitious tribute series we’ve ever done," said Anthony Imperato, Henry’s founder and CEO, in the release. He added that Henry put its finest walnut and its best engraving work into each one.
Here is my read. If you want one to shoot and admire, pick the founder you care about and enjoy some of the best wood Henry sells. If you are buying the complete set as an investment and picturing a future auction, remember that seven editions of 250 each adds up to 1,750 rifles in circulation, which is limited but not rare by the standards of serious commemorative collectors.
And the price math is honest. At $1,450 a rifle in the set, you are paying for walnut and gold on a gun that still works for squirrels and tin cans.
