A threaded barrel lets you run a suppressor or a compensator on your Glock 19, and it’s one of the easiest upgrades you can make. But Glock barrels are made for specific generations, and buying the wrong one means it won’t go in your gun. That matters more than ever now that the Gen 6 is out, because almost no aftermarket barrel fits it yet.
So we checked every threaded Glock barrel in the feeds of the 200+ retailers we track on October 25, 2026, then took each pick’s fit from the maker’s own page, not a retailer listing. Here are the six worth buying, with a live price box for each.

Check Your Glock 19 Generation First
Glock barrels aren’t interchangeable across every generation. Most aftermarket Glock 19 barrels are made for Gen 1 to 4, Gen 1 to 5 or Gen 5 only, and the Gen 6 changed the barrel again. Check the generation on your slide or frame before you order, then match it to the maker’s fit list, not the retailer’s title.
- Gen 6: Faxon’s Duty Series is the only threaded barrel we found that its maker lists for Gen 6. None of the 766 threaded Glock barrel listings in our feed mentioned Gen 6.
- Gen 5: Faxon, SilencerCo and Zaffiri all list Gen 5 fit, plus GLOCK’s own Gen 5 threaded barrel.
- Gen 2 to 4: every pick here fits except GLOCK’s Gen 5 barrel (Faxon starts at Gen 2), and Lone Wolf is the cheapest stainless option.
All six picks use 1/2 x 28 threads, the standard pitch for 9mm Glock barrels, so they take the same 9mm compensators, thread protectors and suppressor mounts.
Two Brands We Left Out
True Precision and Rival Arms both had threaded Glock 19 barrels in our feed. We couldn’t confirm their fit on the makers’ own sites: True Precision’s site didn’t load for us on October 25, 2026, and rivalarms.com now forwards to a domain-sale page. Retailer titles for both disagreed on generation, so we didn’t recommend either until we can check the maker.

Is a Threaded Barrel Legal?
Under federal law you can buy and own a threaded barrel without any paperwork; the suppressor you might put on it is what’s regulated. But a few states treat a threaded barrel as a restricted feature on some pistols. Lone Wolf, for one, says its threaded barrel “Will NOT be shipped to the following areas: California, Connecticut, Washington, Illinois, and New York.” Check your state’s current rules before you order.
