FLUX Redux: A $349.99 Brace and Mag Chassis for Glock

Last updated November 2026 · By Nick Hall, who covers Glock accessories and the federal brace and SBR rules for USA Gun Shop

Quick take: FLUX Defense is back on the Glock with the Redux, a $349.99 kit that bolts a spring-loaded brace and a spare-magazine forend onto Gen 4 and Gen 5 frames. It already shows sold out on FLUX’s own store, with a waitlist.

  • What it is: A two-piece kit for factory Gen 4 and Gen 5 Glock frames that pairs a spring-loaded brace with a rail-mounted forend holding a spare magazine.
  • Price: FLUX lists the Redux at $349.99, and an optional SBR Stock Kit for it runs $69.99 to $79.99.
  • Where: Direct from FLUX Defense, where the Redux shows sold out with a waitlist and a 1-3 week lead time note.
  • Why it matters: It costs less than the Raider kits FLUX lists beside it, and the two-piece design gives buyers in restrictive states more room to configure it.

FLUX started on the Glock, and its current Raider kits are built around the SIG P320 and P365. The Redux is the company going back to where it started, for less money than any Raider on the same page.We pulled the product page and FLUX’s launch release so you don’t have to.

What’s in the FLUX Redux Kit

The Redux product page went live on October 30, 2026, and FLUX announced the kit on November 2. FLUX describes the Redux as “a simple spring loaded brace/stock attachment for factory Glock® frames” that gives you more points of contact with the pistol.

Up front is the Railmag forend, a spare magazine caddy that attaches to the Glock’s accessory rail. FLUX’s description also calls it the Flashmag. Either way, the second magazine rides out front where your support hand lands.

The forend carries a new removable aluminum shroud with ambidextrous thumb ledges, and FLUX says it was designed to accommodate ported and compensated pistols. The shroud comes off for use with suppressors. FLUX says the polymer parts are precision injection-molded and that it added clearance for many common pistol suppressors.

Out of the box you get the brace, not a stock. FLUX’s page says the Redux “comes with the pistol brace from the factory” and that SBR stocks are optional add-ons. It also states, in capitals, that it is not a firearm and that no firearm or accessories are included, so the Glock, red dot and light in FLUX’s photos are yours to supply.

The Glock Fit List, and the Gen 6 Question

FLUX’s launch release is blunt about generations: “GEN 4 / GEN 5 ONLY.” If you have moved to a Gen 6 Glock 17 or 19, the Redux is not on the table yet.

The model lists don’t quite match, so read both. FLUX’s product page, last updated November 7, names the Gen 4 and Gen 5 G17, G17L, G19X, G22, G31, G34, G35, G45 and G47. The November 2 release names the G17, G17L, G19X, G22, G34, G35, G46 and G47.

So the G46 shows up only in the release, and the G31 and G45 show up only on the product page. If you run one of those three, ask FLUX before you order. The plain G19 is not on either list.

Why the Two-Piece Layout Is the Whole Pitch

FLUX’s newer Raider kits wrap the pistol in one integrated chassis. The Redux keeps the original two-piece design, so the forend and the brace or stock work on their own or together.

That isn’t nostalgia. FLUX says the modular setup gives “additional configuration flexibility for customers in states where certain integrated systems are restricted,” and it wants buyers to configure the kit “according to applicable laws.” In other words, if your state frowns on one half, you can run the other half.

“Redux is about going back to the original idea with all that we have learned,” FLUX Defense said in its launch release. FLUX says the original FLUX for Glock launched eight years ago, and that the Redux gets upgraded materials, better ergonomics, a deeper interface with the pistol and a smoother magazine release.

And then there’s the price. At $349.99 the Redux sits under every Raider listed on the same page: the Raider 365 Ultralight at $399.99, the Raider X P320 at $419.99 and the Raider 365 Aluminum at $599.99.

Brace or Stock: Where the FLUX Redux Sits Under Federal Law

Start with the brace. ATF’s 2023 stabilizing-brace rule, Final Rule 2021R-08F, is gone, and ATF’s own page on the rule said in January 2026 that it “was set aside nationwide and has not been enforced.” Our pistol brace rules explainer has the full timeline. Our guide to pistol braces covers how that played out for AR pistols, and the same rule is what used to hang over braced Glocks.

The stock is a different animal. FLUX’s SBR Stock Kit for the Redux carries the warning “ALL NFA RULES APPLY,” and for good reason: a pistol with a shoulder stock and a barrel under 16 inches is a short-barreled rifle under 26 U.S.C. § 5845.

But the SBR rules are lighter than they were a year ago. The federal tax on making or transferring an SBR has been $0 since January 1, 2026, and on October 9, 2026 ATF said it “will no longer require individuals to seek ATF approval under the NFA” before making short-barreled rifles. Our report on ATF’s NFA guidance covers the limits in full.

ATF calls that a change in enforcement policy, not a repeal, and it does not touch state law. It also says people taking an SBR across state lines “should continue to file Form 20s,” so the stock kit still comes with homework.

When You Can Get a FLUX Redux

Right now, you join a waitlist. FLUX’s product page shows the Redux as sold out at $349.99 under SKU 161-00043, with an email signup for when stock returns.

The same page carries a note about a “1-3 week lead time to give us time to process and ship orders since volume will be high.” For the SBR Stock Kit, FLUX lists an overall length of 13 inches collapsed and 20 inches extended for the extended stock, and 11.5 and 18.5 inches for the right- and left-hand flush stocks.

FLUX on a Glock again, for less than any Raider. No wonder the first run is gone.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the FLUX Redux cost?

FLUX Defense lists the Redux for Gen 4 and Gen 5 Glock at $349.99. The optional SBR Stock Kit for the Redux is $69.99 to $79.99 depending on the stock.

Which Glock models does the FLUX Redux fit?

Gen 4 and Gen 5 only. FLUX's product page lists the G17, G17L, G19X, G22, G31, G34, G35, G45 and G47, and its launch release also names the G46. The standard G19 is not listed, so check with FLUX before ordering for anything off the list.

Does the FLUX Redux fit a Gen 6 Glock?

No. FLUX's launch release says the Redux is for Gen 4 and Gen 5 Glock pistols only.

Does the FLUX Redux come with a brace or a stock?

It ships with the spring-loaded pistol brace. Shoulder stocks are a separate SBR Stock Kit, and FLUX marks that kit "ALL NFA RULES APPLY."

ATF's 2023 stabilizing-brace rule was set aside nationwide by the courts, and ATF says it has not been enforced. State and local laws can still restrict braced pistols, so check yours before you build.

Does putting a stock on a Glock make it an SBR?

Yes. A pistol with a shoulder stock and a barrel under 16 inches is a short-barreled rifle under federal law. The federal tax is $0 and ATF said on October 9, 2026 that it no longer requires approval or registration, but that is an enforcement policy, not a repeal, and state law and the Form 20 travel rule still apply.

Can I run a suppressor with the FLUX Redux?

FLUX says the aluminum shroud is removable for use with suppressors and that the kit has clearance for many common pistol suppressors.

Is the FLUX Redux in stock?

Not at the moment. FLUX's product page lists the Redux as sold out with a waitlist and warns of a 1-3 week lead time on orders.
