A new trigger guard can cost as little as $5 to more than $25 for an extravagant drilled aluminum specimen. This polymer Magpul MOE is the middle ground, even though we don’t think they’re necessarily the best AR-15 parts & accessories.

Trigger guards can be cheap and simple, or beautiful and ornate. Either way the basic point of trigger guards is to protect the trigger and give you space to get your finger in there to operate your rifle.

Strike Industries billet trigger guards are a step up in class and Timber Creek also produce some stellar trigger guards.

But you don’t need to get that advanced. These basic Magpul trigger guards do the job well and will take a beating, which is important for parts like these.
