Massive Discounts on FN FNS Handguns
FN is a brand that flies under the radar for the most part and rarely features in the best guns for sale lists, but this massive sale makes them a much better option if you’re looking for a new CCW or full-size pistol.
We like them, but they never quite register because there really isn’t a source of cheap FN handguns. Or there wasn’t…
With the FN509 hitting the market, it’s time to clear the decks of the FNS that didn’t get as much love as it perhaps deserved. Reliability wasn’t quite on a par with Glock, let’s say that, but people that got a good FNS absolutely swear by them.
Now is the time to pick up an FN concealed carry for the price of something far less exclusive. These are designer label guns in some kind of TJ Maxx style end of season clearance sale.
What sort of deals are we talking about? Try these…
$349.00 – FN FNS-40C For Sale – Down From $599.
$379.00 – FN FNS-9L For Sale- Down From $649.
This is seriously aggressive pricing and it means you can look at the FN in a whole new light. Suddenly it’s a bargain. Suddenly it has a USP and suddenly we think it’s worth owning one. Sure, it’s last season’s gun. But do you care?
If you want to scratch that FN itch, these guns will do it for you at cheap handgun prices.
What Are The Best FN Guns?
The FN Five SeveN is a legend with Special Forces and undercover operatives, thanks to the armor-piercing qualities of the round, and the Secret Service have long been fans of FN hardware.
The Belgian firearms legend supplies sniper rifles, assault weapons and more to military units all round the world. The FN SCAR has drawn some criticism from military users, but it’s still a hell of a rifle for you and me.
These handguns are perfectly capable weapons and some people absolutely swear by their FN. You wil find those rare souls that have a complete FN kit and simply will not trust anything else.
That kind of rabid support has to come from somewhere. So if you just like to buy handguns and you want to try something different, then give one of these guns a crack and be prepared to be amazed at this price.
1. FN FNS-40 Compact
- Price: $349.99
- Barrel Length: 3.6 inch
- Total Length: 6.7 inch
- Weight: 1.6lb
- Capacity: 14+1/10+1
At this price, the FNS Compact is easily one of the best CCW handguns in the world, and it could give the M&P Shield a run for its money just about everywhere. This is a designer concealed carry, a Porsche, for Kia money.
This is a cheap concealed carry pistol, but it’s also exceptional.
New converts tempted by the price have written their own user reviews on EuroOptics’ site and pretty much everyone is saying it beats the Glock alternatives. One guy has a collection of five and believes this concealed carry handgun is an absolute bargain.
There FN 509 is a compact handgun with a 4 inch barrel and it looks like a great service pistol that could be a real Glock 19 alternative, but this is still going to be FN’s best carry gun for a while.
It can’t compete with the Sig Sauer P365 Nitron or even the Springfield Armory XDMOD 2 when it comes to the packaging and it is a larger handgun that is only half an inch smaller than a Glock 19. It does pack 14+1 rounds in to the larger mag, though, or 10+1 is available if your State demands it.
The grip angle is just better, if you know what I mean, the stippling is perfect and the extended 1911-influenced beavertail means you can get high up on the gun. Night sights are up top, the trigger guard is gently undercut and the slide is stainless steel.
It’s 40S&W, which isn’t the most popular self defence ammo these days, and yet is deeply satisfying to shoot. Some people love the added kick and simply picking up a 40S&W can be enough to get you back into the caliber.
If this deal sticks around, we’ll have to add it to the list of the best CCW guns for sale. It might not, though, so get yours right now!
2. FN FNS-9 Longslide
- Price: $379.99
- Barrel Length: 5 inch
- Total Length: 8.25 inch
- Weight: 1.66lb
- Capacity: 17+1
The full size long slide FNS-9L is a proper, full size striker-fired pistol and it’s an absolute bargain at $379.99.
That’s $320 off the original sticker price, and more importantly it’s at least $100 less than the likes of the Springfield Armory XDMOD 2 and Sig Sauer P320 that come with a 5” barrel. The gun is seriously well specced, lots of people do prefer them to a Glock and they do include Law Enforcement Officers and undercover operatives that need to trust their weapon with their life.
You can put this gun up against the HK P30L, the Glock 17 and just about every other full size 9mm handgun on the market. This new price puts a whole new slant on the competition and if it sticks around for a while then I’m going to have to modify my best full size 9mm handguns in the world list.
It was always a good handgun, apart from the niggling reliability issues that did include a dead trigger in some cases, which isn’t what you want in a personal defense handgun. But with those issues dealt with, and a totally new price bracket and new rivals, this gun looks like an absolute bargain.
It’s going against the off-brand types like Canik, which also makes exceptional guns. In that sphere, the brand cache of FN is kind of hard to ignore.
As is the engineering. The stainless steel slide is a work of art, the grip sits nicely and the trigger set is the stuff of legend.
This is a great 9mm handgun that just might have slipped past you. It’s a competitive sector and any public flaw can kill a gun’s hopes. But now, Euro Optics has breathed life into the old girl with the price drop that has really changed this particular equation beyond all recognition.
Before, there was no way I’d recommend an FNS-9 Longslide when there were so many other options in that premium price bracket that just make a better case for themselves. If you’re looking for a full-size 9mm pistol under $400, though, this one is suddenly the budget champion.
