17 Best 44 Magnum Revolvers For Sale – Feb 2021

Smith & Wesson Performance Center 629 44 Magnum revolver for sale. One of the best hunting handguns on the market.

Update: Coronavirus is still hammering stock levels and some guns just aren’t there. We’ll get them as soon as, well, anybody can.

These live links will show you what’s actually in stock, not what they want to sell you, at the best online gun stores for a 44 Magnum revolver.

Spoiler alert: it isn’t pretty.

These links have been life savers. It’s messy, but it works. Sort of…

Back to the original post…

Korth Revolver 44 Magnum. Is this the best 44 Revolver in the world?

America’s Favorite Wheel Gun

The 44 Magnum revolver holds a special place in America’s heart. If you collect guns, like at all, then you almost certainly own one of these charismatic wheelguns. And it can become an expensive addiction.

But which is the best 44 Magnum revolver for sale in 2021?

Now this is a highly emotive subject, more so than most of these lists. These debates get tribal in a hurry…

There are going to be multiple entries from the usual suspects, too, and even variants. That’s just the way it goes and there are a lot of S&W 44 Magnum pistols on this list that find different ways to supply much more than the 767 foot pounds of muzzle energy the 44 Magnum round boasted at launch. These are powerful cartridges now.

That said, sticking our head above the parapet and naming the best 44 Magnum pistols for sale in 2021 is basically our job here. Be warned, we have gone for the more spectacular gunporn offerings rather than the sedate, sensible choices. So here goes…

Taurus Raging Hunter .44 Magnum Revolver. An awesome gun for hunting, or home defense

1 Taurus 444 Raging Hunter Revolver

  • Price: $749.99
  • Barrel: 8.375 inch
  • Total: 3.44lb
  • Capacity: 6

Taurus finally did it with the Taurus Raging Hunter Revolver. The Brazilians have taken the top spot, produced the hunting handgun of 2021 in more or less everybody’s eyes and a masterpiece that’s a price most of us can afford.

Finally we have a barrel shroud with an integral compensator that helps control the inevitable muzzle rise that goes with this much front end and this much hollow point. It’s a lot of muzzle energy to contend with..

Factory Custom Porting and Expansion Chamber

Taurus used an aluminum shroud on high-grade steel to keep weight down. It also has that same aftermarket look as the coolest S&Ws. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and Taurus has done it well.

Now the muzzle rise is virtually contained. So you can opt for heavy 44 Magnum ammunition for big game, safe in the knowledge that the Taurus isn’t out to smash you in the head.

S&W vs Taurus Just Got More Interesting

Taurus has lived in S&W’s shadow for so long, but this is the gun to change that. It’s a well-controlled hunter, home defense beast and range toy that you’ll never get tired of.

You can load up with lighter 44 Special to drop the muzzle energy and give your wrists a rest. Or go for the top shelf ammo and Magnum loads to drop deer.

In the field this is a serious long-range hunter and you have to go deep into S&W’s custom price list to come up with this spec. So the winner that goes into your gun safes just isn’t straightforward anymore.

Options With Your Handgun Optics

That long front, the Picatinny rail for a scope or red dot and the iron sights with a long sight picture give you pretty much every option.

The recoil reduction system means it’s an increasingly popular target shooter for novices looking to break into competition too. The Raging Hunter revolver is significantly lighter than the Bull as well. So if you just want a big gangster piece, the new arrivals are still better.

The two-tone matte steel and matte black finish is optional, but it looks amazing, and we think this is the gun to change the Taurus vs S&W game.

Shots have been fired. And if you have always opted for the safe S&W, the Taurus Raging Hunter is the gun that could just change your mind. There’s a 357 Magnum loads version too.

Smith & Wesson 629 V-Comp Performance 44 Magnum for sale. Get the best prices on the best handguns on sale at the USA Gun Shop.

2. Smith & Wesson Model 629 V-Comp Performance Center

  • Price: $1,449.99
  • Caliber: 44 Mag
  • Barrel Length: 4 inch
  • Weight: 2.76lb
  • Capacity: 6

Just look at the Smith and Wesson 629 V-Comp PC and tell me you don’t want it.

Apparently The Rock carries one. You want it a little more now don’t you?

Smith and Wessons are going to feature pretty heavily on this list. You already knew that in your heart. We’re going to say Dirty Harry a few times as well, so you have been warned.

The Best All Rounder Here?

The Smith & Wesson Model 629 V-Comp Performance Center 44 Magnum is our favorite right now if money isn’t a big deal. Yes it’s a little bit operator, it’s a custom pistol and a seriously shiny piece of engineering. But it’s also a functional new star for gun safes around the land.

This large frame revolver can do it all. It’s a competitive target shooting favorite, it is long enough up front to hunt with and this is also a serious tool for home defense. Load it with 230gr hollow point ammo and see what it can do…

The S&W V-Comp is a little chunky for CCW duty, unless you have WWE Champion hands. But it can do just about everything else.

Compensators start to make sense when you get to the 44 Magnum hollow point, which is an absolute monster of a round. Any help you can get reducing the recoil, from the compensator and the cushioned black synthetic grips, has to be a good thing.

Chrome Finish For Looks and Strength

The hammer, trigger and trigger stop are all chrome and should stand the test of time. That custom S&W 629 can be matched up to a series of other S&W gun parts & accessories too.

It’s not quite modular, because each gun is tuned by the master gunsmiths at the factory to work as a whole, rather than just the sum of its gun parts & accessories.

We love the serrations on the wheel, the checker on the thumb safety, the functional adjustable black blade rear sights and orange dovetail front sight, and the custom porting on the compensator.

Where to buy 44 Magnum Ammo

If you buy your handgun ammo from your local gun store, then you need to fix that. We have some places you can bulk buy ammo, even in times of a crisis, and save a lot of money.

Here are our favorite dealers, with direct links to the right section for ammo for defensive duties. You’ll find gun parts & accessories too, of course.

Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley Hunter for sale. Discount guns at the USA Gun Shop.

3. Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk Bisley Hunter

  • Price: $849.99
  • Caliber: .44 Rem Mag
  • Barrel: 7.5 inch
  • Total: 13.12 inch
  • Weight: 3.2lb
  • Capacity: 6

7.5 inches up front and the Bisley grip have made this sturdy Ruger a favorite with handgun hunters. It’s also beautifully proportioned, and that counts for something.

Screw you, it does.

The defining feature on the Ruger is the Bisley Hunter is the single action trigger. That really marks this Ruger line apart from more or less everything else on the market, including the Ruger Super Redhawk.

An SAO revolver is a definite choice, but it’s part of the tribal divide that delights and infuriates fans of the Ruger and the S&W 629.

The Bisley-style grip and a number of features that combine to reduce the chances of an accidental discharge are less important.

An Even Safer Pistol

Safety isn’t such a big deal with this trigger pull. The Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter and associated weapons are basically sold on the strength of that clean break trigger and the transfer bar safety mechanism.

A patented transfer bar mechanism and loading gate are all minor refinements. But it’s pretty hard to reinvent the revolver and new arrivals come with glacial technological advancements.

What is there is good, from the adjustable rear sight to the replaceable insert ramp front sight. The ribs up top are perfect for a scope mount and that turns the Ruger into a very serious hunter.

That’s important, particularly with odd local gun laws that prohibit rifles at certain times. That has meant a renaissance for the traditional powerful handgun and the single action Ruger Super Blackhawk is a purist’s favorite.

Nighthawk Custom Korth NXR - The most spectacular 44 Magnum revolver for sale in 2020? Yes, we think so. See the rest here.

4 Nighthawk Custom Korth NXR

  • Price: $5,299.00
  • Barrel: 6 inch
  • Overall: 11.65 inch
  • Weight: 3.05lb
  • Capacity: 6

The Nighthawk Custom Korth NXR is about as far as we think you can go with a 44 Mag, conceptually speaking.

What’s the concept? We’re not even sure anymore to be honest, but we think it’s the wildest 44 Magnum loads cannon in the world right now…

Nighthawk Custom Owns Korth

Nighthawk Customs produce exceedingly expensive pistols, and this one has been basically skeletonized for improved cooling and reduced weight.

The end result is a 3.05lb cannon with a 6 inch barrel that looks like it escaped off the Mad Max set.

Competition shooters do use them and there’s a reason for most the scaffolding. You can attach counter weights, any kind of optic and a bi-pod if you want. Compensators are available. It’s all awesome, and crazy, and we’re just happy that it’s out there. Obviously it deserves special ammo too.

Competition Firearm or Modern Art?

Korth revolvers are modern art as much as a working firearm. Especially at this price. They don’t give you any more foot pounds, nothing like that really. Just dead center accuracy.

It is also sold out at our partner. It’s a unicorn, here for the shits & giggles.

But if you actually want to buy a Korth revolver online then check these links for what’s in stock. We did another two for Nighthawk Customs semi auto pistols, revolvers are separate, because we’re nice…

Smith & Wesson Stealth Hunter Performane. One of the best 44 Magnum revolvers for target shooting, hunting and more. Buy your gun online now.

5. S&W Stealth Hunter Performance

  • Price: $1,459.70
  • Barrel Length: 7.5 inch
  • Overall: 12.9 inch
  • Weight: 3.5lb
  • Capacity: 6

If the S&W V-Comp hadn’t featured so highly, then the Stealth Hunter Performance would be right up there. How far it’s fallen is a measure of the Taurus’ achievement in producing something just as capable for much less money.

It’s really that simple.

We still love this high price, high-spec firearm. This might just be our personal favorite and if you own one then you will know just what we mean. We know you might tire of the Smith & Wesson Model 629 before too long. But not yet…

Classic N-Frame 629 With Shroud

The 629 Stealth Hunter is built on the classic N-Frame design and the whole design, from the frame to the weighted barrel, have been designed to deal with recoil and provide a repeatable, comfortable shot to big game hunters and competition shooters.

Simple weight and balance has been applied to the classic N-Frame 629 S&W. You get an integral rail for scope mounts and red dot sights has been added to dampen recoil and keep it straight and true.

The Most Accurate in this Bracket?

The accuracy is absolutely unnerving and it has become a legend in the target shooting community. It isn’t just meant to hunt with, although it does that job superbly too.

You don’t get all the premium touches and upgrades that some of the alternatives offer, but that can be a good thing.

The barrel and frame are painstakingly matched. That’s whole point of a S&W PC, but it doesn’t look it. It’s an aftermarket look and for some reason it kind of works here. I mean it shouldn’t, but it does.

S&W 629 Performance Center 44 Magnum snubnose for sale. 2.7 inch barrel and a mighty punch.

6. Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Center Snubnose

  • Price: $999.99
  • Caliber: 44 Remington Magnum/44 Special
  • Barrel: 2.7 inch
  • Total: 7.6 inch
  • Weight: 2.3lb
  • Caliber: 6

su_button url=”https://bit.ly/2N7vX8k” target=”blank” style=”soft” size=”6″ wide=”yes” center=”yes” icon=”icon: shopping-cart” text_shadow=”2px 1px 2px #000000″]Buy Yours From Our Partner Now![/su_button]

Is there such a thing as a concealed carry Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Center?

Apparently so.

At 2.3lb, this little monster is pushing the definition of a concealed carry pistol. But then it is easy to conceal at 7.6 inches long, if that’s what you want to do then this is a viable option.

CCW With a Powerful Punch

More often than not, they are open carry, extreme animal defense. In a bear encounter, this round is really the bare minimum you would want. See what I did there?

But you can also operate these pocket pistols, and that’s why a lot of store owners and small businesses rely on one.

With a snubnose at defensive distances, the increased accuracy of the PC custom mods really doesn’t come into things. Instead the chrome hammer and trigger set are there for reliability and durability.

The adjustable rear sight is nice, but again this is a general direction kind of firearms rather than a precise target picker at 25 yards.

Taurus 444 Ultralite. A concealed carry revolver with 44 Magnum stopping power. At the right price.

7. Taurus 444 Ultralite

  • Price: $789.99
  • Caliber: 44 Mag/44 Special
  • Barrel: 2.25 inch
  • Total: 8.05 inch
  • Weight: 1.7lb
  • Rounds: 6

The Taurus 444 Ultralite is a glorious collision of a few different ideas that somehow emerges as a fantastic carry gun if you want to conceal a wheel.

I mean that snub-nose and fiber optic sights really don’t belong together, but they do help rapid target acquisition.

Taurus vs S&W Yet Again

So there’s a clear market for the Taurus 444 Ultralite and we actually could see ourselves carrying this pistol on the daily. If the S&W Model 629 up above wasn’t quite as good as it is.

That combination of brutal hollowpoints, basic operation and the kind of dimensions that means it could slip into a pocket make it useful. It will work where semi automatics might just not, and it’s also a hell of a lot of fun to shoot powerful cartridges in a gun like this.

A longer barrel version is available, but we do dig these small pistols chambered for 44 Magnum ammo. You guys seem to like them too.

Smith & Wesson 329PD. The best 44 Magnum revolver for sale in 2019. Buy guns online now at the USA Gun Shop.

8. Smith & Wesson 329 PD

  • Price: $1,052.99
  • Caliber: 44 Magnum/44 Special
  • Barrel: 4.1 inch
  • Total: 9.5 inch
  • Weight: 1.58lb
  • Rounds: 6

If you’re looking for an all-round carry revolver and don’t like to go too small, then this is your carry pistol right here.

The S&W 329 PD could be a controversial choice as there have been issues, but it’s new technology and the most complete 44 mag revolver on the market. We went for the eye catching and unique, but this is the practical option.

The company invented the whole shooting match and the N Frame 29 came into being in 1957. This is the classic law enforcement revolver.

First Radical Redesign in Eons

Since ’57, the 29 has seen a number of changes, but this is a radical repackaging that has come about thanks to material science.

A Scandium alloy frame and a titanium cylinder sound the absolute tits, because they are. This is hardcore science at work and the end result is 1.58lb of perfect proportions.

People hunt with this Smith & Wesson, it’s great for home defense and it’s light enough for an everyday carry pistol.

The fiber optic front sight comes from HIVIZ and the adjustable rear sight means you can use the OEM optics for range shooting, hunting or competitive target shooting. Of course you can mount a more substantial scope up top if you want a more considered shot.

Full Size, Lightweight Revolver

Plain and simple this is quality in a lightweight package that looks absolutely fantastic.

The matte black finish and wood grips are a nod to the humble police service pistol, but they also make it look like seriously expensive designer gear.  That’s lucky, because it really is.

The S&W 329PD really isn’t cheap, but then it is stunning. If you want your .44 Mag EDC to look as good as it shoots, then this is the one to buy online right now.

Taurus Raging Bull 44 Magnum 8.375 inch barrel. A monster handgun that is becoming a favorite for home defense and hunting.

9. Taurus 444 Raging Bull

  • Price: $729.99
  • Barrel: 8.38 inch
  • Total: 14 inch
  • Weight: 3.94lb
  • Capacity: 6

If you just want an absolute hand cannon, then this is your huckleberry and all that. The Taurus comes with the 8.38 inch pipework in its most absurd form and you have seen it in more films than you know.

This wheelgun is just a beast, which it needs to be as it can also come chambered in 454 Casull. That’s an absolute monster of a round that is beyond most of our needs, but is arguably the best bear defense caliber.

Alaskans have trusted the 454 Casull for a while and they are the kind of people that really need that power and muzzle velocity. They love these powerful cartridges and the guns that can deliver them.

Most of Us Don’t Need Casull

But if you don’t face down grizzlies and wolves on your way to the local store then the 44 Mag version of the Taurus Raging Bull 444 is more than enough for home defense, hunting with handguns or just having fun.

Factory porting and cushioned grips help reduce felt recoil, but really this is all about long bullet travel and additional muzzle velocity.

The 44 Magnum ammo is hardly shy to begin with, so the Taurus turns it into an absolute ballistic missile. Special ammo tailored for hunting can turn you off rifle hunting forever.

Ruger Vaquero Birdshead for sale. Get your bargain guns online at the USA Gun Shop, the best online gunbroker

10. Ruger Vaquero Birdshead

  • Price: $729.99
  • Barrels: 3.75 inch
  • Total: 9 inch
  • Weight: 2.3lb
  • Capacity: 6

Ruger has come up with several different recipes of the same basic weapon and decided on a Single Action revolver based on the Ruger Blackhawk frame. The Ruger Vaquero Birdshead is the result and it’s quite the piece of engineering.

It was actually a response to the demands of ‘cowboy action shooters’ and hit the shelves in 1993 in its first form. Since then, it has lived in holsters, gun cases and under formal jackets across the land.

In 2005 the Ruger Vaquero came in for an overhaul, with the smaller XR-3 grip bringing the profile more into line with the Colt Single Action Army pistol, which is considered one of the finer firearms of all time.

The Nickel-plated frame comes with a high-gloss finish that give a truly memorable finish.

Dirty Harry fought crime with a 44 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 29. Buy your gun online right now.

11. Smith & Wesson Model 29

  • Price: $889.99
  • Caliber: 44 Magnum/44 Special
  • Barrels: 4 inch
  • Total Length:
  • Weight: 2.74lb
  • Capacity: 6

The Smith & Wesson Model 29 was made famous by Dirty Harry and now you can have your very own hand cannon for less than $900.

So do you feel lucky? Sorry, we’ll stop now.

Harry Callahan of the San Francisco police would not approve of the fancy engraving on this particular Smith & Wesson Model 29. Or the machine checkered walnut grip. But he would like the modern day effort that has taken all the best parts of its predecessors to harness Elmer Keith’s greatest work.

Dirty Harry Made the Smith & Wesson Famous

This six-shot, double action revolver was the world’s most powerful handgun when it was launched in 1955.

But this specialist hunter and heavyweight security weapon didn’t hit the headlines until Clint Eastwood turned his into a silver screen legend in 1971. It was several, obviously, but Dirty Harry’s 44 Magnum might be the most famous movie gun of all time.

This double action revolver comes a carbon-steel cylinder and frame, with a blued finish. It’s seriously durable and has stood the test of time in tougher hands than ours sending this large bore cartridge down range.

In the late 90s, the company technically discontinued the standard Model 29 as the 629 took over.

Special editions will keep gong forever through S&W Classics, though, they’re good business. That explains the engraving work, we guess and the fact that the Smith & Wesson Model 29 is likely to stay on sale until long after we are dead.

Magnum Research BFR Short Cylinder 44 Magnum. A comeback for the Magnum Research BFR revolver that was once the most powerful handgun in the world.

12. Magnum Research BFR Short Cylinder

  • Price: $1,129.99
  • Barrel: 5 inch
  • Total Length: 11.25 inch
  • Weight: 3.44lb
  • Capacity: 5

The Magnum Research Big Frame Revolver was a revelation when it launched, thanks largely to its status as the most powerful handgun in the world.

It fired the 45-70 Government rifle cartridges, felled big game and starred in hundreds of YouTube videos. That wasn’t the only large bore cartridge you could get. It was just the headline act and they were seriously powerful cartridges for a handgun.

But it was expensive, impractical and it just didn’t take off as anything more than a curiosity. The Magnum Research BFR Short Cylinder looks set to change that, with a range of large bore cartridge options and calibers that include 44 Magnum ammunition.

This single action revolver looks set to be the volume seller in a range of substantial cartridges that includes the 50AE.

The Name Has Been Cleaned Up

The name was rumored to mean Big Fucking Revolver. Now it means Big Frame Revolver, which is less x-rated. But now you can choose better calibers and forget about having a record breaker with wrist-snapping recoil.

This is the shorter barrel version, with the 7.5 inch being the preferred option for hunters. It’s a seriously powerful handgun. The Magnum Research BFR Short Cylinder comes with just five rounds though. It also isn’t the slick operation that the S&Ws are when it comes to reloading.

You really have to flip the latch and reload each chamber individually, rather than flipping out the wheel and pushing the ejector rod. That’s not happening here.

So tactically it’s a poor choice and you have to have a specific reason for your Magnum Research BFR, like hunting or bear defense, to choose one over a S&W. Even then we’re not sure why you would…

The Weaver-style scope mount, brushed stainless finish and cushioned synthetic grips are all good. Some people might just prefer the feel of a Magnum Research revolver too. And more power to you if that’s the case.

Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan. A classic pocket gun for mountain men, chambered in 44 Magnum for mere mortals. Get the best price now.

13. Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan

  • Price: $1019.99
  • Caliber: 44 Remington Mag
  • Barrel: 2.5 inch
  • Total Length: 7.62 inch
  • Weight: 2.8lb

This is the concealed carry or pocket pistol that Alaskans rely on to stave off bears and wolves. The Ruger Alaskan is often the last line of defense and has saved more lives than sex education. Maybe, I’m not good with stats.

That is largely the even snappier 454 Casull round, which is about as strong as big bore pocket pistols get. But even with the .44 version, you’re going to feel it when you fire off six rounds. Elmer Keith would love this gun, I think.

The Ruger Redhawk and SAO Ruger Blackhawk offer an entirely different experience.

The adjustable rear sight seems optimistic to be honest. Not many people use these as a precision tool. They’re a simple spray and pray revolver with a massive kick that can slip into your belt, pocket or sock.

A Heavyweight Metal Revolver

This is an absolute lump of a satin stainless steel revolver that you could use to club your opponent to death if it comes to that. This DA revolver is forged from corrosion resistant stainless steel that was specifically designed to deal with the rigors of northern living. So it’s tough shiz.

The longer barrel (7.5 inch) Redhawk deserves its own entry and probably will get one. But when you look at it then it really does look like the snubnose with a tube jammed in there. Prove me wrong…

The Ruger Super Redhawk is an eccentric work of art and that bizarre DIY look has become part of the pistol’s USP. But it’s a love it or hate it thing…

Here’s the Ruger Ruger Redhawk 7.5 inch in all its glory and where you can buy it online for $1049.99

Ruger Super Redhawk 7.5 inch barrel. An unusual 44 Magnum revolver with a DIY look and legendary build quality. Buy your gun now.

Smith & Wesson 629 Specialist Hunter for sale. A 44 magnum revolver with a scope, a compensator and hunting pedigree.

14. Smith & Wesson 629 Specialist Hunter

  • Price: $1,299
  • Caliber: 44 Remington Magnum ammo
  • Barrel: 7.5 inch
  • Weight: 3.59lb
  • Caliber: 6

This is a full-bore Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Center 44 Magnum, which means the best custom gunsmiths in the business have gone to work on what was already an iconic .44 revolver.

The S&W PC 629 Specialist Hunter is all stainless revolver, naturally, and the signature two-tone finish helps tell the others in the field that you’ve spent serious money on one of the firearms manufacturer’s more eccentric offerings. Aesthetically at least.

This is a thoroughbred hunter and literally every part is there for a reason. The asymmetric compensator helps reduce recoil, the Picatinny rail has a red dot right there, but you can use handgun scopes instead.

You get a chrome hammer, a chrome trigger and stop and an action that is tuned by the company’s own master gunsmiths. Customer service is probably pretty great too.

Is it worth the money? Yes, we think it is.

The New Model Super Blackhawk Hunter would be our first choice, but the cheap guns are classic cowboy action six shooters that might just work for you. This was old school law enforcement, Wild West style.

This is a solid single action revolver, a weapon that some believe is much tougher than the 629.

The stainless Ruger Hunter without the Bisley grips is a solid option, too, but that costs $849.99. This old school six shooter, without the bells and whistles, is still a lot of fun and a reliable firearm.

A Semi-Automatic Wildcard…

We do this a lot and you will find bullpup rifles in AR-15 features and a 44 Magnum stainless revolver in semi-automatic features. So here we are. Even though you came here looking for a wheelgun, you’re about to look at a semi-automatic.

The Magnum Research Desert Eagle chambered in 44 Magnum with a 6 inch barrel and muzzle brake. Suddenly, this is a great gun.

16 Magnum Research Desert Eagle XIX w/Muzzle Brake

We like the Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX in 44 Rem Mag spec. There, we said it.

Really take a look. There’s a lot to like about this smaller caliber Desert Eagle. The big bore 50 Cal pistol is a novelty, which requires love, patience and maintenance. But with the 44 Rem Mag, the Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX gets headroom.

Suddenly all the tech that was designed to just about harness the lunacy that is the 50AE round could easily cope with the muzzle energy and velocity. Suddenly you have a Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX operating well within its limits. And the results are good, really good.

If you’re not entirely sure how the action works, this video does a nice job of breaking down the Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX.

Accurate, Reliable, Calm Even…

The 6 inch barrel and compensator all play their part in the Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX. This rotating bolt style semi-automatic pistol gets 8+1 rounds in a mag, you can switch mags fast and suddenly this is an interesting alternative to the standard fare.

Check it out here:

Everybody is saying the same thing. With the Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX, the company really got its shit together and turned it into something you might want to own.

New, Refined Desert Eagle Brand

So if you wrote it off as a nutjob, and nobody could blame you, take a look at the new Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX chambered for the 44 Mag cartridge.

And prepare to change your mind about this semi-auto Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX.

The Magnum Research Desert Eagle is a semi-auto with a mag. That makes reloading a lot easier. Sure you can speed load a revolver. But in your heart you know the Desert Eagle is faster.

In this company, it might just be the logical choice. That burns like acid doesn’t it?

And Then There’s This…

Henry Mare's Leg Lever Action Handgun is a 44 Magnum pistol with a difference. Get your new gun here.

17. Henry Mare’s Leg Lever

  • Price: $369.99
  • Barrel: 12.9 inch
  • Weight: 2.74lb
  • Capacity: 5+1

The classic Western Mare’s Leg is basically a cut down version of the legendary Henry Repeating Arms.

This lightweight and wieldy weapon could sit in a leg holster. It could also provide a competitive advantage in a gunfight was popular with Law Enforcement Officers of the time. The 12.9 inch barrel made this basically the SBR of its day.

But it obviously didn’t come chambered with 44 Magnum ammo, because Elmer Keith and co weren’t around to make it. The original was a 45 Long Colt, but you can buy this gun in a range of calibers. This is the big bore pistol.

Now it’s more of a nostalgia piece than a serious firearm. But this lever action handgun might make the grade as a hunting pistol in your State. It would look kind of weird, but it could be a different kind of fun.
