Actually, the opposite is true. Last year Trump killed a proposal that included a check on people’s disability status as part of the standard background check you go through when buying a gun. If this bill had passed, up to 80,000 people would have been denied their constitutional right to bear arms due to a piece of government red tape.
The bill made no sense and Trump did the right thing.
The Left wing media will never let the facts get in the way of a good story, but we know that by now. But if you have an ounce of critical thinking, please disregard this latest round of Trump-baiting nonsense. It simply doesn’t deserve the slightest ounce of respect.
Also take a moment to consider that AR-15 sales are up in the wake of the Florida shooting and we’re seeing record sales. If your State is getting difficult, maybe consider moving to one of these five states with the best gun laws.
